Sandra manages and coordinates the delivery of the Enterprise Europe Network Wales programme and supports Welsh organisations with identifying transnational technology transfer and co-operation opportunities in the aquaculture sector.

Research & Development Advisor

Lisa provides Welsh organisations with assistance in accessing collaborative Research and Development funding, such as the European Framework Programme (FP7).

 

John Griffiths

ICT Specialist

John supports Welsh organisations with identifying transnational technology transfer and co-operation opportunities in the ICT sector, providing guidance and assisting with projects.

 

Dr Sharon Thomas

Healthcare & Life Science Specialist

Sharon assists healthcare and life science organisations within Wales who are looking to capitalise on international technology collaboration opportunities and identify other possible routes to innovation within their sector. Sharon also manages the international annual BioWales event, hosting a brokerage event in parallel to the two-day conference.

 

 Nick Ward

 Environmental Technologies Specialist

Nick is responsible for increasing the amount of technology transfer into and out of Wales on an international scale, by providing specialist support to Welsh companies and research organisations within the environmental and sustainable energy sectors. The role also involves increasing the amount of R&D done in Wales by providing hands-on assistance, helping companies/organisations to participate in EU and UK R&D programmes.

 

Steve Patterson

Performance Engineering Specialist

Steve assists Welsh companies and research organisations to identify transnational technology transfer and cooperation opportunities in the Automotive, Aerospace and Materials sectors. Supports companies and research organisations wishing to participate in EU and UK research and development programmes.

 

Alyson Smith

Publications and Information Specialist

Alyson manages the Advances Wales publication, which showcases the latest innovations in science, engineering and technology from Wales, and is responsible for promoting technology collaboration opportunities and the communication and marketing for Enterprise Europe Network Wales.

 

Jodie Sargent

Programme Executive

Jodie is responsible for the appraisal and monitoring of the Wales European Collaboration Fund, project output tracking, event management and financial resource management.

 

Owain Thomas

Team Support

Owain supports the team with the organisation of events, administration and general marketing activities.

 

Nigel Tidy

General Manager

Nigel manages the European Information Service section of Enterprise Europe Network Wales, overseeing the European Public Alert service, the dissemination of European trading opportunities, the provision of specialised European information on legislation and markets, and providing local organisations with a voice to Europe. Nigel is based in South Wales.

 

Veronique Lefebvre

Information Officer

Veronique is responsible for answering complex enquiries on European issues for companies in Wales and is involved in running the European Public Procurement Alert service, which provides market information, and the Trade Opportunities service. Veronique is also responsible for the weekly electronic WEIC Bulletin, is a native French speaker and is located in South Wales.

 

Olwyn Williams

Information Officer

Olwyn has been sourcing information and answering complex enquiries on European issues for companies over many years. She is also involved in running the European Trade Opportunities and the daily European Public Procurement Alert service and searching for funding schemes as part of Enterprise Europe Wales’ information service. Olwyn is based in Cardiff, South Wales and works part-time.

 

Eirian Harrison

Information Officer

Located in North Wales, Eirian provides answers to enquiries on European issues. Eirian is proactive in raising awareness of the European market, funding opportunities and legislation at business events. She is able to source information and additional support for a wide variety of business sectors. Eirian also writes the articles for the EuroNews publication. Eirian works on a part-time basis.
