Grants worth over 127M€ will be available from the Commission’s ICT Policy Support Programme following its next call in early February for real world deployment pilots. These will demonstrate and assess the utility and long term viability of ICT based services in these areas, which are described in The Commission Workprogramme
The principal speaker at this free event will be Loris di Pietrantonio from DGINFSO, European Commission, who will explain the Workprogramme and the associated processes. Further speakers will describe their experiences of participating in existing projects, together with the proposal submission and evaluation processes in which they have been personally involved.
There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers, networking and sharing of ideas.
The event is open to delegates from other countries and follows the Commission Information Day that is scheduled to take place on 3 February in Brussels
