September 2010 06/09/2010 - 10/09/2010 Valencia, Spain The 25th European Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition will take place as part of the wider 5th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-5), together with the 36th US IEEE Photovoltaic Specialists Conference and the 20th Asia/Pacific PV Science and Engineering Conference. This unique PV solar gathering, bringing together the three most important global scientific and strategic PV Conferences, will constitute the world’s leading science-to-science, business-to-business and science-to-industry forum for the global PV Solar sector. The European PV Solar Energy Conference is coordinated by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC). It is one of the biggest trade shows in the world in this field, and in 2009 had 2,560 exhibitors and nearly 120,000 visitors. Conferences, symposia, workshops and forums at IFAT Entsorga In 2008, there were around 300 events with 350 speakers. This year includes the 15th International Symposium on Water, Wasterwater, Waste and Energy. European Brokerage Event of the Enterprise Europe Network on 15 September 2010 Take the chance to initiate business cooperations in pre-arranged bilateral meetings with SMEs and research institutes all over Europe. The one-day brokerage event is an excellent platform for SMEs and institutes of the environmental sector to establish contacts and initiate international co-operations. Participants of the brokerage event select in advance interesting profiles from an online catalogue containing competence profiles of all participating organisations and request meetings. These and other initiatives are helping the UK fuel cell and hydrogen industry to develop strong businesses able to compete globally and help the delivery a variety of policy goals. The way in which support evolves over coming months will be critical in shaping future success. The Energy Generation and Supply Knowledge Transfer Network, in collaboration with Welsh Assembly Government and University of Glamorgan, would like to invite you to join us for an event which will give you the opportunity to update on strategic thinking on fuel cells and hydrogen, and its implications, across key high level public sector funding stakeholders.
